For principals: your school portal

School leaders work in the school portal at teachflow.ai/school. Sign in first, then go to that address, or switch to it from the bottom of the sidebar.

• Dashboard: total staff, who's been active this week, AI generations and estimated time saved, plus a Teacher Activity table that flags anyone not onboarded, inactive or using it lightly.
• Teachers: your staff list with their roles and status. Search by name or email, or filter by role or status.
• Documents: the documents your district has published for your school, under From your district or your district's name. Click Open to read one. You and your staff acknowledge documents on My School.
• Announcements: post school-wide announcements and see who has read them. See Sharing documents and announcements.
• Analytics: activation rate, generations per teacher, usage over time, the most-used tools, and a comparison between teachers, over 7, 30 or 90 days or all time.
• Settings: your school's name, subjects and grade levels.

Adding staff

On Teachers, click Invite Staff. Enter their name and email, choose their role, such as Teacher, Instructional Coach or Asst. Principal (any role below your own), and click Send Invite.

We email them an invitation with a Join button for your school. They don't need an account first: they sign in with the address you invited, using the 6-digit code we email them, and join your school as soon as they're in. If they already use TeachFlow with that address, they keep their account. Their status changes from Invited to Active on its own.

Student and parent accounts can't be invited as staff. To invite a whole staff at once, your district can import them from a CSV file: see For district leaders.

Switching portals

If you lead a school or district, the button at the bottom of the sidebar shows where you are. Click it to switch between Teacher, for your own AI tools and My School, and each school or district you run, with your role under its name.
