Generating a lesson plan with AI
Two ways to use AI: write one section of a planner lesson, or create a whole plan with the Lesson Plan Generator.

In the Lesson Planner: one section at a time
Open a lesson and click Generate with AI on any section. The AI writes that section from the section type, the lesson's title and any standards you've added. Add standards first for more targeted results. Not quite right? Edit the section by typing, or use Ask AI to change it under it.
The Lesson Plan Generator: a whole plan
- Open AI Tools and choose Lesson Plan Generator.
- Pick the Grade Level. Add the Subject, Lesson Topic, Class Duration and number of learning objectives.
- Under Include Sections, choose what you want in the plan, such as Warm-Up Activity, Group Activity, Homework or Differentiation Notes. Add anything else under Additional Notes.
- Click Generate. It takes about 10 to 20 seconds.
Your plan appears on the right. You can type into it, or use Ask AI to change it under it, then Copy, Download .txt or Print / Save PDF. Click Regenerate for a new version. To use it in the planner, copy the parts you want into a lesson's sections.
Tip:Be specific. "Introduce photosynthesis to 6th graders with a hands-on activity" gets a much better plan than "science lesson".
